Summary of my current research:

My research has led me to several areas of science from basic to complex science in respect to human diseases. I am a senior scientist working on two types of cancer -lung cancer and uveal melanoma cancer. These cancers are devastating to sufferers and early detection is a prime-need. My current research interests are centered around how cells communicate with each other through a biological email system and what happens to these messages in cancer. We are trying to decipher these messages to allow early detection before the presence of the tumour potentially providing new targets to be used in therapy.
