It is that time of year again to thank you for your ongoing support for Cancer Support France HauteVienne.
CSF H-V has had an interesting year with an influx of funds which has restored us financially after
two very lean years with Covid-19 and all the lock downs and restrictions. We have held some very
enjoyable fund raising events over the year and would like to thank all the people who supported
them by organising them or by taking part.
We ran an Initial Training Course at the end of March and now have four well trained new Active
Listeners, two of whom are also able to offer language support.
Our AGM went well at the beginning of October when our long standing treasurer, Karen Blewett,
stood down and our new treasurer John Mowbray took on the task. We also have a new secretary
Liz Borsden. I would like to thank Karen for all her hard work over the eleven years that CSF H-V
has been in existence. Karen is very involved in CSF so she will not be leaving altogether.
No doubt in the next few weeks you will be hearing from John about renewing your subscription for
2023.
We have helped a number of clients over this year and I know they are very grateful for our support
which we could not offer without your support.
May I take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Thank
you for the support you give CSF H-V and I look forward to seeing some of you in the New Year.
